Tuva Slot Machine Hall Attacked

On September 4th, two workers in the slot machine hall in Tuva were killed. The police are not sure however, what exactly happened. There does not seem to be a robbery, as no cash was taken, and the slot machines are all working the way they are supposed to. They are not sure what resulted in the deaths of the two workers, one was a man and one was a woman.

The woman, 22 year old Elika Oorzhak had numerous stab wounds and was found around 7 am. Her body was located in the slot machine pavilion “Sayany”, which is owned by the Saneko group from Arkhangelsk. The security officer had several traumas to his body as well, and died at the hospital where he was taken.

This being just one of several murders in slot machine halls in Tuva, people are starting to get concerned. There was one in November of 2005 where a security officer was killed for not letting a customer into the hall in Kyzyl. This past spring, the slot machine pavilion “Leon” was attacked by six men who were armed. Security at the “Sayany” slot machine pavilion was not as it should be, and it is currently under investigation.
