Philadelphia Park Casino to Open in 2007 

Philadelphia Park’s construction crews are doing their best to get the casino up and running as soon as possible, but the temporary casino that they are building is not going to be an overnight project. They are building the structure in Bensalem, PA, but it won’t be ready until early next year. They have ordered their slot machines, but the structure won’t be ready to receive them yet.  

The temporary casino will just be to keep their players happy until the new one can be built. A permanent casino will be built and completed some time later. The temporary casino will look anything but, especially with a $50 million price tag on it. It will have all the luxuries of a permanent structure, slot machines, restaurants, bars, buffets, etc. Officials say that it will have the look and feel of the major casinos in Atlantic City and Las Vegas. 

The permanent structure will be a $400 million jaunt – and will be opening sometime in the next three years. It will be a beautiful hotel and casino complex that will rival the grandeur of any other casino. It will have all the amenities of the temporary one, plus more. As soon as their slot machines come in, they will be setting them up and installing them, and they expect to be open not long after. Then, they will continue to use some of the facilities of the temporary structure, eventually increasing their slot machine numbers to approximately 5,000.
