Alliance and Atari Make Slots

Alliance Gaming and Atari Video Games will now have something in common – slot machines. The two companies have teamed up to start making slot machines based on old Atari Video Games. The first one will be “Pong”, with others to follow. They plan on doing “Asteroids”, “Centipede” and “Breakout” as well.

Atari is well known throughout the video gaming industry, especially among those currently in their 30’s and 40’s who lived through the Atari video game revolution. During the 70’s the company came out with a slew of video games that middle-aged adults will now be able to play as slot machines.

"Titles such as PONG and Asteroids evoke such a strong favorable response with gamers of all types and we're excited to team up with Atari to produce a series of slots that will showcase these timeless classics and give casino visitors a memorable new form of entertainment," said Richard Haddrill  of Alliance Gaming Corp.
