Zoom Invades San Francisco 

There is a new game in town and it is called Zoom. They are everywhere and are taking over the city of San Francisco.  The company is called Zoom Systems, and their new game is a kind of mixture of slot machine and vending machine. You can get any sort of electronic gadget you can think of – iPods, RAZRs, PSPs, etc.  

All you do is put your credit card in the slot and ta-da! You have whatever piece of technical gadgetry your heart desires. The machines are everywhere, airports, hotels, you name it. They are even moving across Europe now – and they are truly the way of the future. People don’t like dealing with salespeople as a rule. You don’t ever have to again – just buy it from the box. Electronic gadgets are only the beginning of where this can go. Pretty much anything besides the obvious like cars and homes can be bought from the machine. 

In some places they have already caught on like wildfire, and people are singing their praises. But other people say that if they are going to drop a couple of hundred bucks on the latest toy, they want someone to acknowledge that they just made a really cool and expensive purchase. If these things become the way things are done for now on, eventually a lot of people are going to be out of jobs.
