Vote Yes on Learn and Earn

With Election Day just weeks away, the push for the Learn and Earn campaign has really increased. There are many who want to see the slot machine initiative passed and they want their voices heard.

They say that since Ohioans are crossing state lines to gamble on slot machines anyway, why not legalize slot machines in the state so that the money can be used to help out programs, including education, within the state of Ohio. They say that it is time for Ohio to join the ranks of those around them and bring in slot machines.

They also say that the slot machines will “fuel economic and educational advances” in the state, and although they are aware that there will be social expenses that will be incurred by the slot machines; the benefits far outweigh the negatives.

If approved, the Learn and Earn campaign would bring in nine slot machine parlors in Ohio, and millions of dollars in funding for education. They say that the cost of education in Ohio has gotten so out of control that they cannot continue the way they are or none of their children will be able to afford to go to college.
