Shulman Pro-Gambling

Marc Shulman has long been a part of the judicial process. He spent six years in the Michigan legislature, and has spent a large portion of his lawmaking drafting new laws and shaping policy. He is currently running for the Michigan Supreme Court, and he is all for slot machines.

Shulman thinks that it is important to stay true to the lawmaking process. He thinks that you need to stick to the letter of the law, and not interpret it just to suit your needs. "I feel very strongly that when people elect their legislators, that's the role of the Legislature to make law," Shulman said in a recent interview at TVS Communication Solutions.

He served the Oakland County district in the State House from 1999-22004 – with the last four years chairing the Appropriations Committee. He currently works for TVS, a video and broadcast services company. He is CEO and general council. He very rarely steps into the courtroom anymore, only when a case truly compels him to do so.

Shulman is in favor of slot machines at the race tracks, and voted to bring them into the state. This will bring in much needed income, and Shulman understands that.
