Only In Vegas 

So let’s say you have $100,000 in $1.00 bills that you just don’t know what to do with. You could put it in the bank, or you could donate it to charity, or you could stick it on a billboard and take bets to see if anyone tries to steal it. Sound farfetched; it would be if it weren’t true! 

There was a large billboard on the Strip in Vegas near the Stardust Casino, and it just needed some money. An online sports betting company was looking at a way to drum up some business, and wanted a flashy way of promoting the different ways you could earn money on their site. They took a suitcase of actual money - $100,000 in $1.00 bills and put it up on the billboard thinking it might just catch the attention of those that are driving by. 

They then took bets to see if someone would break into it, which of course they did. Somewhere around three o’clock in the morning, the guard took a break and someone broke into the billboard and stole some of the money. Anyone walking below was also fortunate enough to take off with some as well. The company says the money is insured so they weren’t worried about it, and they plan on putting the cash back up on the billboard again. Police suspect an inside job, but the company denies any wrongdoing.
