Credits to Cash

Necessity is the mother of invention, and in this case her name is Kerrie Godding. Gooding lives near two of the nation’s largest casinos – Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun, and realized that there wasn’t any way to know how much you had just one, when you are told how many credits you have on a slot machine.

She created ChaChing! Credits to Cash Calculator. It takes the amount that it is showing you won and computes for you how much it is in cash. If you are playing a nickel slot machine and you won 6,458 credits – how do you figure out how much that is? Ok, what if it is dimes? Or quarters? Godding’s machine takes the guess work out of slot machine credits.

Godding said she would watch people hit, and then see their confusion as to how much it actually was. She created the small calculator so that it could hang on a lanyard around slot machine players’ neck. This would make it convenient for them to carry around. You can get the regular version, the one with the crystals on it, or you can get them with your company logo on them if you want to give them to employees. Godding says that this is a great gift for slot machines, and could be “an innovative promotional item for casinos.”
