Atlantic City Slots Tournament 

Resorts Atlantic City and its sister property the Atlantic City Hilton Casino Resort are offering a $1 million prize to the winner of a slot machine tournament.  

The qualifying began this past Monday, and will continue every day until November 25^th at the Hilton. Whoever wins the million, will get a 25-year annuity worth the one million, or they can take an immediate cash payout of $500,000.  

Casino tournaments have been all the rage, but usually they are for card sharks, not for slot machines. The Resorts and the Hilton are two of the smaller casinos in the town, and they think that by offering a slot machine tournament they will make themselves stand out from the rest. They believe this is the first $1 million slot machine tournament in Atlantic City history. 

Unlike the card games however, there is no skill involved in winning. It is pure luck. There will be 20 finalists who will compete on the final day – and whoever gets the highest score on November 25^th gets the payout. The slot machine tournament is only open to members of the Resorts and Hilton customer loyalty program.
