Virtual Dealers

In this crazy Xbox, Playstation 3 fueled world that we live in, it is no wonder that eventually casino dealers would become null and void as well. You might think that you actually need someone to run a table game in a casino, but you would be wrong.

The Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort is proving lots of people wrong these days, as they have implemented a virtual casino right inside their existing casino. They have wide screen, high def monitors and dealers that change every 15 minutes.

They say that they are trying to “bridge the gap” between their casino and the online and arcade revolution. They think that somewhere between the Xbox and slot machines that there is a place for them. The casino is located in what used to be unused space, and now players play against virtual dealers who are running either a poker game or roulette.

Chris Bailey, their slot machine director, says that virtual gaming is not just for the young. He says that it also makes gambling user friendly, and enables professionals to try their hand at something a little different. He says that although the younger or less experienced players will like the training portion of it, everyone will like that they have the chance to sit down and play a table game by themselves.
