Northern Winz Casino Opens

The Northern Winz Casino is finally ready to open for business. After what seems like a very long time, the tribe is ready to allow people into the casino to try their hand at the slot machines. They are planning on holding their opening night festivities on Wednesday at the casino.

There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at 5 pm, and somewhere around 1,000 members of the tribe are expected to attend it. Once the ribbon has been cut, the members of the tribe will be able to tour the casino, then have a no charge dinner at the new Starlight Steakhouse and Café – as well as have a chance to walk away $1,000 richer if they win the poker tournament.

There will be door prizes as well as cash prizes in the amounts of $500 and $1,000. The evening will close with a fireworks display at 9 pm. However, this is just the grand opening for the tribe’s members, as the casino is planning on having another grand opening for the public that they say will be even more extravagant than this one.

They are holding the big grand opening March 30-31, although they are allowing the public to come in and play the slot machines, etc. Thursday morning at 9 am. The casino will have bingo style slot machines, keno machines, and poker machines.
