Who Has Doyle’s Room?

There seems to be some confusion as to who has Doyle’s Room if anyone. They left the US because of the new ruling of online slot machines and gambling being illegal, and are not allowing any more US play after March 1st. They are, however, still taking non US players and other international customers.

But there are rumors afloat that say Full Tilt has actually bought Doyle’s Room by winning a bidding war against Bodog.com. There is also rumors that their clients are bring transferred to Full Tilt Poker, so many are wondering if it is true or not. Neither site will confirm or deny the takeover, so no one knows for sure.

What they do know is that the company has withdrawn from the US, and is urging their players to withdraw their money. They say it will take longer than usual as many players will be doing the same thing, but that everyone will get their money. They say that because of the UIGEA they need to pull out, and that their new sign ups would be stopped immediately.

The company feels that the best thing they can do at this point is to not allow real money US players, but that still leaves many wondering who owns the company, and whether or not a takeover actually happened. We will just have to wait and see what they tell us.
