Meadows Readying for Opening

The Meadows Racetrack & Casino is getting ready for their big opening, as are local residents. They will be the fifth slot machine casino to open in the state, and they are looking forward to the millions that will eventually pour through that door.

The Meadows is planning on setting itself apart from the other casinos though by constantly changing its slot machine gaming floor. They say that it won’t be a set plan so as not to get stagnant for their customers. They say that the permanent facility will be a dream come true for clients.

They are opening their temporary facility tomorrow with a little over 1,700 slot machines, and will begin demolition and construction for the permanent site this August. The permanent casino will have 265 progressive slot machines which will pay out thousands in returns, with the remainder of their 3,000 slot machines paying out not quite as much. The slot machines will accept wagers ranging from a penny to $25, so there will be something for everyone.

They will have the Wheel of Fortune slot machine, in fact 25 of them, as they are considered to be the most popular slot machine in the country for the last ten years. There will be video poker games as well, which will pay back around 95+%, but they take skill, whereas the regular slot machines do not.

Officials say that they are not planning on coming near the 5,000 slot machines that they are allowed by law, especially since each slot machine costs around $18,000 apiece. They say that they will continue changing their floor plan based on what their customers like.
