Table Games Not For Most Women

Most women do not like to play the table games, for the men can seem intimidating. When you go to a casino, many men assume that you will play the slot machines, and really nothing else. If you don’t know how to play the cards it is best that you don’t sit anyway because it won’t go well.

Heaven help you if you end up in the anchor seat, which is the last seat at a blackjack table. There is a way to play that most novices don’t understand, that depending on the cards you choose – if you take one that was meant for the dealer you can end up messing up everyone else at that table.

There are also those tables that the men try purposefully to get the women out, and they will gang up on the woman because many men have a boy’s club mentality when it comes to poker, or any of the table games. If you have the ability to play, then by all means feel free to stick their noses in it. But if you aren’t very versed in the ways of gambling, then you might want to sit it out if you don’t have a tough hide.

Fights have literally broken out at tables when someone makes an error that costs other people money, which is why most women feel too intimidated to sit at the table because they fear that they will be on the receiving end of it.
