Slot Machines and Love, What a Combination

With a day like 7-7-07 how could you not take chances? That is exactly what people did – they got married by the droves and played the slot machines ‘til they dropped, some were lucky immediately some it will take some time to find out.

Most casinos found that their triple seven slots were kept steadily busy, although there were not reports of huge jackpots being hit on the lucky day. Some patrons said that they had tried their luck at those particular slot machines but not having any luck they gave up.

The casinos said that there were definitely a higher number of patrons coming through their doors looking for the slot machines, as gamblers are traditionally a suspicious bunch. The casinos know that any day is the same chances around here, yet the day ended up being lucky for them as they probably had more people come in and lose money than on a regular Saturday.

It didn’t hurt either that it fell on a weekend, because weekends are always better for the casinos than the weekdays anyway. However, many patrons said that they had flown into Las Vegas just because of the date. They said that if they were going to get lucky, today was probably the day to do it.

As for the marriages, hopefully they will end up luckier than most casino patrons were, as most of them left there the way they normally do – with less money than they came in with.
