Three Arrested for Online Gambling

Three men were arrested yesterday for illegal internet gambling, according to police reports. The men were using free Wifi access to carry on illegal internet betting and were busted by the police.

Arrested were a factory manager and two engineers, all ranging in age from 30 to 32, and although they tried to flee they were captured. The men were using the internet access to do illegal online betting on football matches and casino games, while sitting in E-Gate.

The popular coffee hangout is visited by many who use the free Wifi to get email or surf the web, but patrons are told not to use it for illegal gambling purposes. The police had received an anonymous tip saying that there was illegal betting going on, and they raided the establishment at 4 pm yesterday.

The owner has been warned about people using it for illegal gambling activities, and when police arrived they said that they had gotten a tip saying that there were a bunch of people using it for illegal means. When they arrived, most people grabbed their laptops and ran out of the place.
