Slot Machines Seized

A ‘mamak’ restaurant in Puchong was the site of a slot machine seizure.  When all slot machines were tallied there were nine touch screen machines and one worker in a lot of trouble. The raid took placed at a 24-hour outlet at Jalan TK of Taman Kinrara in Puchong after an anonymous tip was received by police. Five policemen raided the slot machine hall which was part of the restaurant’s kitchen – and was capable of holding up to 25 people. The arrestee was a 20 year old Myanmar national.

Earlier that same day, police officials raided another establishment, a snooker center that was eight shop lots away from this one, and it operated nine slot machines as well. This one ended in the seizure of the slot machines as well as the arrest of a local man who was found to be in his 40’s.

Both raids were conducted by the district police chief, Subang Jaya, Assistant commissioner Muhd Fuad Talib, and Senior Criminal Investigating Officer, Assistant Superintendent Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yussof. Police said they were trying to find the restaurant owner to press charges on them as well.
