UK Slot Machine Gambling Getting Worse

The UK keeps bringing in slot machine after slot machine, with no thought as to what it will do to the addicts in their country. With a new supercasino coming in, it could start to get even worse for the slot machine addicts. Thousands more slot machines will be coming in, and they will be available for the playing 24/7.

The Church and the Medical Profession seem to be the only ones concerned with the influx of slot machines coming in. The recent estimates of gambling addiction say that somewhere around 350,000 residents being addicted. Scotland alone has seen an increase in gambling funds of over 300% just over the last four years. Gamblers Anonymous is reporting a drastic increase in the number of addicts that have started attending meetings.

There is much concern over the number of slot machine addicts that will be created by this new supercasino – and many are concerned that some of those addicts are going to be children. At the very least, the problems that slot machines will create for many families will destroy the family unit, lead to crime, bankruptcies, and suicides.

Because of the fact that gambling is quickly becoming a problem in Britain, bringing slot machines and supercasinos in town is not just stupid, it is dangerous.
