Slot Machine Vote Concern

The voting machines in Miami-Dade County have some concerned that their vote was not counted in the last slot machine referendum. The county has been having some issues concerning the number of votes that are being counted with their new voting machines, and think that perhaps there may be a problem with the tally. Some think it could affect the results of the elections and of referendums such as the slot machine one that was not approved.

In the latest mayor referendum, more than a thousand votes did not count, and now the county is wondering what other votes have not been counted. Although the number of votes in this last election would not have been enough to change the results, some think that there may have been even more not counted. Gambling opponents want to know how it affected the slot machine vote.

Opponents say that the slot machines were voted down fair and square, but some residents of Miami-Dade say that they want proof. The problem is that there is no paper trail, so you have to go by what the machine says, and that has many fairly upset. The slot machine supporters think that the slot machines may have passed, but that they will never know because of the voting machines.
