Slot Machines Lead to Suicide

For those of you who say that slot machines don’t lead to depression and suicide, here is one for your opponents. A Muscovite shot himself after losing at the slot machines and died on January 31st. The man, Oleg, died due to a loss of blood from the gun shot wound.

The man supposedly lost half of a million in the slot machines in Moscow, and could not handle it. His common law wife knew that he had gambled, but did not know the extent of it. He had several large slot machine losses, and kept them from her. After he shot himself, Oleg was taken to an intensive-therapy ward, and he passed away two hours later.

Turns out that Oleg kept the gun in with his children’s things to hide it from his wife, Elena. Elena found notes in his pockets when going through his things, and totaled up his debt was roughly 500 thousand roubles.
