Video Gaming Slot
Machines
Video Gaming is
a company that has an original idea; they lease slot machines to
Native American casinos that need the slot machines to run their
casinos. The company currently gets more than 90% of their slot
machine leasing revenue from Oklahoma, but they also operate in Texas,
Alabama, California, Mexico and Montana.
The Native
American casinos lease the slot machines from Video Gaming, and then
Video Gaming gets 20-30% of the slot machine revenues generated from
their machines. Their bingo based slot machine generated more than
$1.4 billion in Oklahoma, according to the 2006-2007 Indian Gaming
Industry Report.
With the new
proposal up that could affect bingo type slot machines for the tribes;
if it passed it could mean big changes for the tribe’s slot machine
businesses. Video Gaming however, is confident that they can handle
any ruling on the slot machine industry. They say that their slot
machines can easily be switched to the new system if need be. Video
Gaming is looking to expand out of their current market, as they know
that where there is a tribe, there is a need for slot machines.
