Umpqua
Bringing in Slot Machines
The Canyonville
area in Oregon has lots of excitement these days, they are about to
get a lot of slot machines. The Seven Feathers Hotel and Indian Casino
is owned by the Cow Creek Band of the Umpqua Indian Tribe and they
have decided that more slot machines are better than less.
The tribe is bringing
in 263 slot machines and adding them to their expanded casino floor.
The tribe already had more than a thousand slot machines in the
casino, but for some reason has decided that they need more. This
increase will bring in more players, not only because of the fact that
there will be less waiting time – if any – to play the new slot
machines, but this also means that there will be more to choose from.
The new floor will be
pretty much dedicated to more slot machines and the promotion that the
casino is offering the first day will double the points any Players
Club Member makes. Those points can then be used for things thorough
out the casino, such as slot machine playing, food, nights at the
hotel, there are many options. The casino will also offer kiosks that
they can cash in at so that they don’t have to wait in the cashier
line to cash out their slot machine tickets.
The casino is now
offering more than 90 different types of slot machines, some much more
technologically advanced than players are used to. They will also be
offering more in the way of different denominations for the slot
machines, such as penny, nickel, quarter, etc.
