Scientific Games’ Contract with Great Canadian Gaming

Great Canadian Gaming Corporation is pleased to announce that they have signed a contract with Scientific Games Racing – which is a division of Scientific Games. The company will be providing racing terminals for Great Canadian at their tracks in Ontario. They will also be supplying them with their Quantum™ System for processing their wagers.

The agreement between the two companies renews the British racetracks and the Teletheatre Network, as well as new contract for the two Ontario racetracks. The contracts will include all of their wagering systems for Flamboro Downs and Georgian Downs, as well as all of their off track teletheatres. Scientific Games will take over as of August.

The four contract renewals with the British Columbia tracks are Hastings Racecourse, Fraser Downs Racetrack and Casino, Sandown Park, and the TBC. They will also be upgrading some of their current terminals to BetJet ones.

Scientific Games said that they were excited by the expansion of their contract with Great Canadian, and they feel that this contract is a “vote of confidence” for their Quantum™ System. They believe that the system is going to “revolutionize” the way that wagering and racing is currently handled.

Great Canadian was equally as effusive about the partnership, stating that they would be streamlining the way they do business, and that since they are the leader in wagering technology for pari-mutuels, this is a perfect fit for both their company and for Scientific Games.
