Wynn Resorts Announces Finances

Wynn Resorts, Limited announced their Second Quarter Results for the period ending June 30, 2006. Net revenues were $273.4 million, with an adjusted net loss of $4.9 million. This represents a 26.8% margin on revenues for the second quarter. Net gaming revenues were $113.5 million, with table games $466.1 million – with wins at 19.8%. Slot machine results were $907 million in the quarter. Slot machines held fairly steady with wins and gains, with the win percentage lower than in previous quarters.

New casino Wynn Macau is under construction and has a total project budget of $1.2 billion. It will have 600 hotel rooms, 210 table games, and 380 slot machines in roughly 100,000 square feet of casino gaming space. As well as seven restaurants, retail spaces, salon, spa, entertainment lounges, and meeting facilities. First phase will open September 2006, second phase is planned to be opened by the end of 2007.

They are also creating Encore at Wynn Las Vegas, which will open by the end of 2008, and will have a hotel, casino, slot machines, restaurants, swimming pools, etc. They are also expecting the new “Monty Python’s Spamalot” to be performing in a theatre there in the first quarter of 2007.
