Indiana Slots are Loose

It seems that Indiana is giving money away from their slot machines. Everyone knows that the main complaint from slot machine players is that the slots in Las Vegas don’t pay out the way they used to, that they aren’t “loose” enough for most people. The true slots lovers are always looking for a place to play that will give them the payout that they have been waiting their whole lives for.

Well, that day is here, or at least it was, if you were in the Caesar’s Indiana casino. Turns out the machines went a little crazy paying out their winners. The machines were programmed incorrectly and ended up paying out ten times what they were supposed to per player. If you put in $10, the computer credited you with $100 dollars and so on. The Extra Money machine, as it is really called, paid out almost a half a million dollars before someone finally brought it to the casino manager’s attention. For two days people were playing it and making quite a tiny profit off of the casino.

The casino is pretty much out the money that was taken from it, but does have some recourse. They can go after the players who used their “player’s cards” to gamble, but those who paid in cash will never be found. The casino has not decided whether or not to pursue the matter.
