New Casino Not Liked By All

The MGM Mirage is planning on building a new casino in Detroit, and their CEO, Terry Lanni, said that they are excited about the possibilities that the new casino will hold. He also said that the company is committed to diversity, and that will work out well in their new location.

Reactions to the new casino are mixed at best. Some are very excited abut the possibility of the new casino and what it might be able to do for the community. Many residents say that they are interested in applying for dealer licenses so that they can deal at the casino. Others say that they think it would be good for their economy to bring in such a large casino.

However, for everyone that says they are excited about the new casino, there are more that say they aren’t. Most of their concerns come from the fact that Detroit is not one of the richest areas of the country, and if you put in another casino it should be anywhere but there. They say that the casinos prey on the citizens of Detroit because Michigan’s economy is so bad.

They say that those people that are traditionally gambling are the ones who can least afford to pay the high price that it comes down to. They say that they already have enough casinos in the area, and that when the ones they have came in they were told that they would help the local economy. Residents say that they have not helped at all, in fact they have made it worse. They say that they have three casinos bringing in money but Detroit has the worst school system and economy in the nation.
